Disney Shirt Makeup Inspiration: Alice in Wonderland Shirt
I’ve been trying to do this makeup tutorial for like weeks, but of course California has decided to be unpredictable and either be super windy or rainy, which means I can’t take nice pictures outdoors! So today, I finally did it! And let me tell you something…it was raining! Haha… I didn’t let the rain deter me from taking my pictures, I sucked it up. And there were luckily a few moments where it just sprinkled or didn’t rain for like 5 minutes! So all in all, today was a successful rainy day!
My shirt inspiration for this makeup tutorial is the Alice in Wonderland Shirt or Flower and Garden Shirt from Etsty.com/LakeBuenaVisitors (this is not an affiliated link, just wanted you guys to be able to find your way to their amazing shop!
Let’s get started with the look I created inspired by the shirt above!
As usually, I applied ELF Cosmetics: Line & Define Eye Tape to both eyes
Next I applied Urban Decay: Primer Potion to both lids, and under my lower lash-line. On top of that I applied NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk just to my lids
I used BH Cosmetics: Take Me Back To Brazil Palette for all the eye shadows in this tutorial
Using a big flat shading brush I applied the Orange in this palette all over my lids. It’s the 3rd color across in the 3 Row
Next I blended the Orange up into my crease using a fluffy dome-shaped brush
To add more depth to my crease I applied the Burnt Orange that’s directly above the Orange I used for my lids, using a stiff dome-shaped brush
I added a highlight right along my brow-bone, using one of the shimmery whites form the same palette
I applied Tarte: Tarteist Double Eyeliner (Pencil Side) on my tight-line and along my water-line
Using a small smudge brush I smudged the 5th Green in the 3rd row across along my lower lash-line
When doing liquid eyeliner, I often do a thin line, mostly because I don’t want to screw up and end up making the line so thick that it looks awful… But I decided I wanted a nice medium/thick line along my top lash-line to give a more dramatic look. I used NYX Cosmetics: Epic Ink Eyeliner
Now for the best part! My flowers! Originally I was going to get creative a draw some little flowers on my eyes…well I did a test run of that about a week ago, and let’s just say IT WAS HILARIOUSLY AWFUL. So I went to amazon in search of some flower glitter, or anything flower related that was small so I could put it on my face haha. The flowers I found on amazon you can get here →Amazon.com (again, not an affiliated link, but it’s easier this way for you guys to find them!)
Using Duo: Quick-Set Striplash Adhesive White/Clear I carefully and strategically applied the little flowers around my right eye using some tweezers
I decided to avoid doing this to both of my eyes, I didn’t want it to look too cluttered, so I did a little accent flower to my left eye
To finish my eyes I applied heavy coats of Tarte: Maneater Mascara to my top and bottom lashes
And there you have it for the eyes!
For the lips I wanted a nice bright red, so of course I used my Colourpop Cosmetics: Villains Creme Lipstick in Cruella
For the rest of my face:
♥ Face Primer: Maybelline: Master Prime- Hydrate + Smooth
♥ Foundation: Maybelline: Fit Me Foundation- Dewy + Smooth in 115 (Ivory)
♥ Setting Powder: Pacifica Beauty: Cherry Velvet- Matte Translucent Setting Powder
♥ Blush: Too Faced: Let It Snow, Girl! 4 Blush Set- Snow Kissed
♥ Highlight: Colourpop: Creme De La Creme- Pressed Powder Highlighter- Pardon My Francois
♥ Brows: Arches & Halos Professional Brow: Luxury Brow Building Pomade – Espresso
♥ Setting Spray: Urban Decay: All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray- Long Lasting
And my entire look is complete!
