Wild Bird Series: Red Bearded Bee Eater
Fun Facts:
They can be found in East Asia
They nest in burrows in the sides of sandy banks
Their diet is mostly bees, wasps, and other insects
As always we prime the lids! I used Urban Decay: Primer Potion
Using small pieces of scotch tape, I lined it up along my lower lash-line pointed upwards to create a wing effect.
Using the BH Cosmetics: Take Me Back To Brazil Palette
On a fluffy dome-shaped brush, I applied the orange from the 3rd row, 3rd color down into my crease, and along the scotch tape.
Gently remove the scotch tape, revealing the nice crisp line we created. And apply a little more of that orange onto the lid, but only the outer corner.
Taking NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk on a small detailing brush, I cut out my crease a little from the inner corner, to the middle of my lid.
From the 6th row, 3 colors down in the palette, I applied that dark green right on top of Milk.
Make sure to lightly blend the orange and green together, so that where they meet on the lid isn’t very harsh.
Next using a small smudging brush, I applied a purple from the 8th row, 4th color down along my lower lash-line. Smudging it along the line of orange.
Now often times I like to keep my eyeliner very thin along the top lash-line, but this time I decided to venture out and make it thicker, with a thicker wing.
Using the Revlon: ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen
To finish the eyes, I applied 2 coats of Tarte: Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara to both my top and bottom lashes.
Since my eyes are very bright and bold, I wanted to keep the lips more natural then usual. I used Soap & Glory: Matte- Lip in Choccoberry
And your Red Bearded Bee Eater makeup look is complete!
