Ulta Beauty Skincare Haul

Okay so we all know that I’m impatient with a lot of things, but I know my skin SO WELL, that I know exactly when my skin doesn’t like/will never like a product. Ideally you’re suppose to use skincare products for 4-12 weeks depending on the product type to really see it starting to work, and for getting your skin use to it. My skin is so sensitive that I see results instantly with products my skin reacts to. And I don’t like continuing to use a products that causes my skin to breakout and feel irritated and SUPER DRY (unless its a peeling product where your skin should break out to purge everything).

With all that being said, I made the decision to return my Hello Body Skincare that I recently did a blog post about. Before using the Hello Body Skincare, I used a Target mask that caused an intense amount of irritation to my skin and caused tiny bumps EVERYWHERE on my face…so frustrating. Well using the Hello Body Skincare didn’t help my skin, I think it actually made my irritation worse. And I noticed that my skin was continuously getting dryer each time I used the Hello Body Coco Skincare line. It just wasn’t the hydration and nourishment my skin needed or wanted.

So I decided to go to Ulta Beauty, because 1. They return any used product for full price back within their return policy time frame, 2. I get points with each purchase, and 3. I just love Ulta so much and I always have a good experience.

Origins: Check And Balances- Frothy Face Wash

While checking out at Ulta the girl that rang me up told me this face wash was her favorite and it would change my life. She was right! This face wash feels AMAZING, my skin doesn’t feel stripped, it feels clean and smooth and not overly dry like some face washes might make your skin feel.

Mario Badescu: Aloe Lotion

CEE3F3DF-7C67-4109-800C-B6CBC6EE8516

I find it so difficult sometimes to find a face toner that doesn’t contain any alcohol. My skin is so sensitive and dry that whenever I’ve used face toners with alcohol in the past, my skin has become severely dry and feels more vulnerable to other products I used afterwards. This toner doesn’t contain any alcohol, and since it’s aloe, it feels so refreshing and extra calming.

Mario Badescu: The Moisture Magnet

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a daytime creams that contains any kind of SPF. I’ve only been able to find super thin, not very moisturizing day creams that have SPF. My skins so dry that I need that extra moisture. So I just would use extra hydrating daytime creams without SPF. I know I know, its bad. At least my foundation has SPF in it! When I found this daytime cream, and learned that it’s rich and moisturizing, and it has SPF I was so excited! I also love the smell of it, I believe it the Gardenia in it!

Origins: Ginzing Eye Cream

I’ve come to the conclusion at 26 years old that it’s time to start really caring for ant-aging products. And that also means I needed to add an eye cream to my return. Also considering I’ve always had pretty bad bags under my eyes…Which makes me feel self-conscious, especially when I smile and the are way more prominent. I’ve heard amazing things about this specific eye cream for years, mostly from beauty youtubers. So I decided to give it a shot, I like that it absorbs quickly and you can use it whenever! I mostly use it at night, but it recommends morning for a more awake look.

Mario Badescu: Caviar Night Cream

I can’t be the only one that thinks “this cream must be amazing and luxurious” only because it says Caviar in its name. Well that was the exact reason I picked it off the shelf, but not exactly why I bought it. I read the back label over and over, and it sounded like it would be extremely hydrating, so  I decided to give it a go! And I’m so happy I did, my skin feels SO smooth, and soft and extra hydrating. I like that it’s a thick cream, but it doesn’t feel too greasy, or like it’ll never absorb into my skin.
