Trending Tuesday! Glitter Lips

I’ve been neglecting my love for my blog lately, and with that I needed some motivation. What better way to motivate me than to make a commitment with a weekly post known as; Trendy Tuesday. Every Tuesday I will be posting a look or tip on beauty related trends for Summer 2017!  As you can see from the title this weeks Trending Tuesday is, Glitter Lips. What better way to get people to notice you when you’re talking then to have shiny fabulous lips!  The best thing to start with when going for a bold, in your face lip is to prep the lips first. For this I went with my go-to lip scrub: Lush Lip Scrub in Mint Julips. 

Make sure when applying this you do it generously, don’t be shy with it! 

After you’ve applied make sure to remove any excess product, this product is so natural and even edible! So either wipe it off or lick it off! 

For glitter lips you want to avoid lipsticks/lip gloss that sets matte. Matte lip products tend to set well on the lips but give nothing for the glitter or eye shadows to stick to. The color choice is completely up to you! I love my purples! So I went with Urban Decay: Vice Lipstick in Speedball. 

Apply the lipstick as you normally would!

Apply Magnetic all over the lips, make sure its an even spread using a fluffy shading brush. 

After you continue to cover both top and bottom lip with Magnetic you’re gonna want to add more dimension your lips. For this I added Specter to the center of my bottom and top lip.
