Too Faced Sugar Pop: Candy Coated

I think it’s about time for a makeup look! The Too Faced: Color Pop Palette comes with a look guide, featuring three eye looks using the palette. The eye look I chose to do today is Candy Coated.

First we need to prime the lids, for this I used Too Face: Shadow Insurance. I applied it all over my lid, up to my brow-bone, and along my lower lash-line.

To keep eye shadows sticking better onto your lids, a cream shadow base will work wonders. Especially if you use a color that will bring out the shadow color more. For this I used NYX: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha

Apply the eye pencil all over your lid, just below the crease.

Time for shadows!  Taking a large flat shadow brush, apply Peach Fuzz all over the lid, up to the brow-bone. This color is a little shear, so pack on as much as you can!

Time to give the look some color! Using a smaller flat shadow brush, apply Blue Raspberry just onto the lid.

No one likes harsh lines, so make sure to blend out Blue Raspberry, slightly above the crease.

Time to lighten up the crease. Taking a fluffy dome blending brush, apply Bubblegum into the crease. Make sure to pack it into the crease, you want as much color payoff as you can get. And make sure to blend!

Now to continue the colors onto the lower lash-line. Using Urban Decay’s 24/4 Eyeliner in Flipside smudge it along your lower lash-line, this will help emphasize your shadows.

Smudge Blue Raspberry over the top of Flipside using a small shadow brush.

Time to darken the look, by lining the top lash line with black liquid liner, and slightly winging it out. For the liner I used Elizabeth Mott: Waterproof liquid liner in Glitterati.

Time to start finishing up the look, first line your water-line with Urban Decay: 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero.

Next you want to coats your lashes with some mascara! I used my favorite mascara for this; Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara.

And now your look is complete!

You can add to this look if you want to glam up your lips a bit!  Using Starlooks: Lip Liner in Tickle Me pink I lined my lips.

And then I filled in the entire lip with the same lip liner.

To finish the lips, add some gloss! I used NYX: Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee.

And now your lips are complete!

And here’s the look complete with the lips made up!
