The start to "Saturday Reviews"

I figured it’s about time for a weekly blog series. Why not name it after the day I decided to start them?! “Saturday Reviews” will be a small blog post every Saturday. Whether it’s makeup, skincare, nail polish or hair products, I’ll be choosing a new one each Saturday! They’ll be short and sweet…or short and sour. Who knows?! I’m so excited to start this blog series, it’s something new and fun.  And it will give you guys a chance to read small and informative reviews about a range of different beauty products!  Today’s “Saturday Reviews” will be; Essie: DJ Play That Song. When I first saw the color of this nail polish (bright purple/pink glossy color) I thought it was perfect for summer! It’s a stand out color that will get people looking…at your nails that is! The color is true to what you see in the bottle. Although there is one minor problem I have and this is completely my opinion; you need three coats for the color to be true. Obviously I don’t mind having to apply three coats of nail polish, but it does take extra time to dry. Meaning less time to do anything because you’re too afraid to touch anything in case your nails get messed up and smudged. And having to remove your nail polish and start over again because you don’t have patience is a pain in the…well you can fill that in yourself.  All in all I think this is a great fun color for the summer time and compared to some nail polish brands this one is sold for a decent price! $8 from Essie.com
