Sultry With a Pop of Color!

I haven’t done a fun, intense makeup look for you guys in a while. So I decided today I’m gonna change that! There are tons of different products with this look, but remember, always try and use what you have first! So let’s get started! Priming is always key to a long lasting, vibrant look. Today I’m using my Too Faced: Shadow Insurance in Champagne.

Apply all over the lid, not above the crease.

Next you’ll want to apply a creamy eye pencil, this will help your eye shadows look more vibrant and adhere to your lid better. For this I used my NYX: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Strawberry Milk.

Apply the pencil all over the lid, not above the crease.

Time for shadows! The main palette I used for this look is the Urban Decay: Naked Smoky Palette

Taking a fluffy dome-shaped blending brush, apply Combust to the crease, blend upwards. Then to add more depth, I applied Whiskey on top of Combust. Blend Whiskey outwards to create a subtle wing and more dimension to the eyes.

To darken up the eyes, apply Armor all over the lid, lightly blending it into the crease to insure everything is blended.

Next add a matte finish highlight to the brow-bone to clean up any harsh lines. For this color, I used Thirteen.

My favorite thing to add to my eye looks, is a bold highlight in the inner corner. I learned this from Leesha (Xsparkage on YouTube). Taking NYX: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I applied and blended it into the inner corner of my eyes.

To tone it down and set the jumbo pencil, I applied High on top.

Now to add our pops of color!

Using my new found love: L’Oréal: Silkissme in Blue Cobalt I lined my upper and lower waterline.

To enhance the blue liner, I applied this gorgeous purple to my lower lash-line. I don’t quite remember the name of the color, but it’s by Makeup Forever.

Smudge the purple using a small domed brush into your lower lash-line.

Finish off the eyes with a few coats of mascara! I used Maybelline: Lash Sensational Mascara.

And your eyes are now complete!

On to the rest of the face.

Like most people I get those lovely dark circles under my eyes. So lately I’ve been applying Clinique: Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer under my eyes. Just a little goes a long way!

( I did this before my mascara)

After blending the concealer in I applied my go-to foundation. Maybelline: Fit Me in 115. Blending it into my skin with a Sephora Buffing brush.

To set the foundation I used my setting powder Rimmel: Stay Matte in Silky Beige. I used a large Kabuki brush.

To add some color to my face, I used my Bh Cosmetics: Professional Blush 10 Color Palette.

For my blush I used the 3rd color over on the top row.

Next I did a little contouring. Using a small contour brush I applied the last color in the bottom row of the blush palette. Make sure to blend out real well.

And that completes the look! Now to add a little more color, I chose 2 different lip looks for my makeup. My first lip option is very simple. Using Nyx Cosmetics: Soft Matte Lip Cream in Milan.

Here’s the complete look with our first lip option!

Now my next lip combo is probably my favorite, it’s a little different than what I’m used to!

Taking Urban Decay: 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil in Zero. I lined only the outer part of my lips, and blending it inwards.

And then apply your lipgloss to help blend it all together! I used Nyx Cosmetics: Intense Butter Gloss in Black Cherry Tart.

And now the look with lip combo is complete!

I really enjoyed creating this gorgeous makeup look! I hope you all enjoyed it too! You can purchase all the products from these sites: Sephora, Nyxcosmetics, UrbanDecay!
