Staple Hair Products: Straightener
One of my most needed hair products I’m willing to spend a lot of money on are straighteners. Right now I’m on the search for a new one. Previously I was using the Chi Flat Iron, as of lately I’ve noticed it counteracting with my Chi Deep Brilliance Hair Dryer. My hair gets overloaded with static after each swipe of my straightener. I’ve tested out a lot of different theories. I’ve changed my shampoo, conditioner, heat treatments, and hair balms. I know it’s not my blow dryer that’s causing it, because my hair isn’t full of static after I dry it. So right now I’m on the lookout for a new one. Straighteners can be pricey if you’re looking for a high-end one that will last years! I hoped that my Chi would have had a longer life but sadly it hasn’t. My new straightener will be whatever works, whether It’s a high-end, name brand or a cheaper alternative. My sister has a Sephora brand flat iron and it works perfectly, I’ve tested it out twice with all my usually hair products and blow dryer and my hair doesn’t have any static whatsoever. I’m excited about this new straightener, I’ll be purchasing it soon because It’s not too expsensive and it really works! So it you’re on the lookout for a new straightener look for these things:
Good priced flat iron
Ceramic
Infused with crushed tourmaline
Heat degree setting
So remember those 4 key things when buying a new straightener, and always remember that you don’t need a $200 straightener to get smooth and straight hair. Always do your research first and look for reviews on certain products you’re thinking about buying!
(The straightener I’ll soon be purchasing) Only $48.00 at Sephora.com
