Spring into Bronze: Makeup Look
It’s been a while since doing a makeup look, and today I was feeling extra motivated. So I figured with this warm weather coming, it’s time to add some bronze color to my skin!
Let’s get started!
Priming is the most important when doing your eye makeup! You want everything to last as long as possible.
I used Urban Decay: Primer Potion all over the lid, and lower lash-line.
Next you want a sticky base, I prefer to use ones that will match up with the eye shadows I’m using. For this I used NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha.
Time for shadows! I use 2 palettes for this look. ItsJudyTime: ItsEyeTime by: Pixi. And Tarte: Tartelette in Bloom.
First I applied Brick (Itsjudytime) all over my lid, slightly blending it upward into the crease.
Taking a blending brush I blended out Brick with Smarty Pants (Tarte) into the crease.
To darken up the look I took a small dome shaped brush and applied Aww Snap (Itsjudytime) to my outer-v of my crease. Since it is such a dark color, make sure to blend it out well. Carefully pull the color into the rest of the crease, but keep most of the intensity in the outer corner.
To give the look more dimension, using water, or even setting spray, apply it to your flat shader brush and dip into Getaway (Itsjudytime) and apply right in the middle of the lid. This will help foil the eye shadow and intensify the color.
Onto the lower lash-line, I smudged Maybelline: Waterproof Gel Pencil in Glazed Toffee onto my waterline. On top I smudged Getaway (Itsjudytime) over it.
Using your favorite liquid/felt liner apply it to your liking along your top lid. I prefer to stick with a thinner line. For this I used KatVonD: Tattoo Liner in Mad Max Brown.
And now the finishing touches. Mascara! Using my go-to favorite mascara ever (my holy grail) Benefit: Roller Lash in Black.
And your eyes are complete! But lets get to the rest of the look…
Bronzing up your eyes is awesome, but you gotta add some to your face too! I’m not a big contouring buff, but with my new contour palette I love doing it!
Using Maryam Maquillage: Strobe & Sculpt Highlight & Contour Palette with Pixi, I applied Caviar Dreams to the hollows of my cheeks using the Maryam Maquillage Brush. Make sure to blend blend blend!
And make sure to highlight those cheek bones! And get some color on their too! For my highlight I used Queen, and for my blush I used Bo$$Lady.
A bold lip is always a good way to go when completing a full face of makeup. I used Sephora: Minnie Collection in Always Red.
And your looks complete!
