Smokey Eyes!

There is always one staple look everyone has for their makeup look, whether it’s a daily neutral look or dark smokey eye. Today I’m going to talk about one of my favorite eye looks; the smokey eye. Smokey eyes are perfect for every outfit and every occasion! You can do different colored smokey eyes as well, like: purples, blues, blacks, greens and browns. When I think of a smokey eye my mind goes to black, and since I have dark features it works well. This look I’m about to show you has always been my everyday makeup so I hope you enjoy! 

First off you need a good primer, my personal favorite is Urban Decay: Primer Potion. It helps your eyeshadows last longer and helps the eyeshadows really show their true colors. 

Next is your eyeshadows, right now I’ve been using the Urban Decay: Mariposa Palette and the Urban Decay: Ammo Palette. Both palettes have beautiful dark shimmery colors that help you create amazing smokey eyes. 

1. All over lid color and lower lash line : Gunmetal-A dark silver/black color full of shimmer. Mariposa Palette

2. Crease color: Money-A light silver with a hint of blue (helps blend out gunmetal) Mariposa palette

3. Inner corner highlight and brow highlight: Porcelain Bride. Ammo Palette

To add more depth to your smokey add smudge a little bit of Urban Decay: 24/7 Eyeliner in Perversion along your top lash line and add it to your water line as well.

To finish off the look and bring everything together all you need is mascara! I prefer CoverGirl: LashBlast Fusion.
