"Saturday Reviews" OPI San Francisco Collection
For my birthday I was given the OPI San Francisco Collection. I already love OPI nail polish because of the long lasting wear and the “true to the bottle” color payoff. When I first unwrapped the nail polish collection I knew I wanted to write a review right away!
The nail polishes!
First Date at the Golden Gate: A vibrant ruby red color with a creme finish. If you aren’t use to wearing red nail polish this is the perfect starter, its not too bright or too bold!
Muir Muir on the Wall: This color has so much dimension! It’s black base goes perfect with a moss green duo-chrome that shows through perfectly. This color is great for the beginning of fall.
Peace & Love & OPI: This color is perfect for fall and winter! It’s a creme finish polish, and a gorgeous eggplant-purple color.
In the Car-Pool Lane: This is my favorite nail polish in this collection, I’m even wearing right now on my toes! It’s a beautiful dark berry color perfect for when fall and winter approach.
(In the Car-Pool Lane-3 coats)
Pros:
Long Lasting
Great color payoff
Medium sized polish brush
Less air bubbles than most polishes
Shiny creme finish
Doesn’t chip
Price $12.95 (when regular polishes are $9)
Cons:
Slow drying process
Needs 2-3 coats for true color payoff
Polish brush stick is too short
As you can see there are more pros than cons, I’d say this is a great buy, you’re getting 3 well sized nail polishes for almost the price of a full size of 1 nail polish. I love the colors in this collection, they are all perfect for the seasons that are about to come up! You can purchase this amazing collection at Ulta.com.
