I have officially joined the enormous group of people that have gotten their hands on the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette! I was ecstatic to get this from my sister for Christmas, I’ve been wanting to play with this palette for so long.

Along with this palette you get 4 large sample sizes of all of Urban Decay’s primers.

(Original: top left. Sin: top right. Eden: bottom left. Anti-Aging: bottom right)
I haven’t gotten a chance to try out all of Urban Decay’s primers, but I’ve tried both the Original and Sin. I absolutely love them both, they hold up all day long, and eye shadows stick better and don’t crease over time.
This eye shadow palette is very different from the other two palettes in the Naked series. This palette has a theme, mainly rose gold. Very chic and neutral colors, perfect if you like very toned down looks with an edge to them.

With this palette you can create very light, neutral looks. But you can also mix it up with the medium and dark colors that come in this palette. Urban Decay is mostly known for their shimmery eye shadows, and in this palette you get four very soft matte shadows. Perfect for blending, and if you don’t want a “full blown” shimmer look!

Strange (first color): This is a really nice pearl-white matte, perfect for a brow-bone highlight. It’s a very soft color and blends out colors nicely.
Dust (second color): This is my favorite color in this palette! It’s a beautiful pink champagne color, full of shimmer. I mainly use this color for an inner-corner highlight. It’s not as intense as you might think, but the amount of shimmer in it makes up for that.
Burnout (third color): This is more of a warm peach/pink color. It’s more of a sheer shadow than shimmery. It’s a really good transition color, especially since it doesn’t have glitter in it.
Limit (fourth color): This is another matte in this palette, another great transitioning color! It’s a warm pink/brown shadow.
Buzz (fifth color): Similar to Dust but darker, with a little less shimmer. I really like this color for all over the lid! Perfect for a neutral look with a little shimmer, and enough color pay off so that you don’t really need any other colors along with it.
Trick (sixth color): A shimmery, light bronze/gold. This color confused me at first, it didn’t seem to fit in the palette. But once I played with the palette, I realized it’s perfect to change up the look, that way there isn’t too much pink on your lids.
Nooner (seventh color): The third matte in this palette. This is a beautiful taupe color. Perfect color to begin darkening your look in small steps.
Liar (eighth color): This seems to be the shimmery version of Nooner, at least in my opinion. This is another color I really like for all over the lid. And it’s blends very nicely, which is perfect if you want to keep your look simple.
Factory (ninth color): A dark shimmery brown. I like adding this color into the crease to create definition to my eyes. It’s also perfect for smudging under the lower lash-line, especially if you used light colors on the lid. Creates a good balance for your eyes.
Mugshot (tenth color): A dark bronze/silver shimmery shadow. This shadow is good if you want to create a dark eye look without being too dramatic.
Darkside (eleventh color): The last matte in this palette. A dark taupe, this would be a good color to add into the outer-corner of the lid. Some people don’t like mattes because they are usually hard to blend, this color blends perfectly.
Blackheart (twelfth color): A black color with pink/purple shimmer. This color reminds me of Beautymarked by Mac. But unlike Beautymarked, Blackheart keeps hold of the pink/purple shimmer as you blend it out. This shadow will change up your look in an instant, especially if you want to create a smoky eye from this palette.
Along with this palette you get an eye shadow brush, double-ended. I really love Urban Decay’s brushes, they’re very sturdy, and pack on color easily. One side of the brush is a medium-sized brush, and the other side is a small-sized brush.

I really enjoy creating looks from this palette, and I will be posting looks from it very soon!
