I have been watching Judy from It’sjudytime on YouTube probably since she started YouTube videos. With her passion for makeup, and knowledge for a huge range of beauty products I knew I could trust her opinions. That’s why when I found out she came out with her own palette through BH Cosmetics, I knew I had to get my hands on it! One of the best things about Judy is that she has filmed a bunch of makeup tutorials using her palette, which is perfect when you need a little guidance when putting colors together for a look.
Let’s get started with the review!

This palette contains 12 eye shadows, a perfect range for day and night! Judy is very into “wearable” makeup looks, and so am I! Which is why I really love the colors she picked for this palette, I can see myself wearing all of these easily, each day. There are 5 mattes, and 7 shimmers. I love when palettes come with mattes, they are perfect for highlighting your brow-bone, and for transition colors.
Top two colors (from right to left)

White: Matte, very fair shadow. This is perfect for a brow-bone highlight, it actually has become my go to highlighter! My skin-tone is very fair, so this color works great for me, especially for blending out any harsh lines and for adding a highlight.
Light Brown: This is the perfect transitioning color! It is matte just like the white one. I like that it isn’t a warm/red type brown, so it looks more natural on the eyes.
Top third & fourth colors (from right to left)

Shimmery Light Bronze: Beautiful wash of bronze, that’s on the lighter side, perfect for everyday/daytime wear. I really like how smooth this shadow applies, most of the shimmery eye shadows I have, have a lot of fallout, these eye shadows do not!
Warm Light Brown: This color reminds me of a warmer version of the light brown in this palette. It has a slight red under-tone. I noticed when I swatched it on my hand, it didn’t come off as smooth as it does over a base on your lids.

Dark Brown: I haven’t gotten the chance to really play with this color on my lids. But I loved the way it showed up when I swatched it. It’s a rich, dark brown with a warm/reddish undertone. I blended it out on my hand, and noticed it blended smoothly. Most dark matte shadows tend to be splotchy when being blended out, not this one!
Dark Shimmery Brown: This reminds me of a shimmery version of the dark brown, without the warm undertone. I absolutely love this on my eyes! It’s perfect just on its own, and very easy to pull off with fair skin.

Shimmery Gold: Beautiful medium/dark gold full of shimmer. I really love gold shadows, especially since it brings out my brown eyes. If you’re looking for a easy to work with eye shadow, this is perfect! It looks beautiful on its own.
Dark Shimmery Bronze: This is the perfect crease color, it adds so much depth to an eye look! It’s a really rich brown, full of gold shimmer. I’ve been wearing this color all week, and I simply love it!

Dark Berry: I’ve been noticing this type of color in a few palettes lately. But that’s okay because I love this type of color. This lets you slowly move out of the brown/bronze theme that’s going on in this palette. It’s a very dark reddish/berry color, with pink/purple shimmer.
Shimmery Light Purple: I love purple eye shadows, but I can never seem to find one that looks wearable. Because this shadow is on the lighter side, it’s completely wearable! I love how easy it blends, and the less amount of fallout it produces.

Light Matte Purple: I’m so happy that Judy included a matte version of the shimmery purple! If you’re looking to have an all-out purple eye look use this color! Especially if you don’t want full on shimmer for your look. This color comes off pretty light, but it’s an easy build-up color!
Dark Shimmery Blue: This color confused me at first, I couldn’t figure out where it fit in with the theme. But with brown/bronze shadows, you can typically pair them up with any color. I think blue is an underrated eye shadow color, trust me, this isn’t your “80’s” type of blue. This color is intense, opaque, and full of shimmer. Perfect to add along the lower lash-line for some added color.

As far as the palette itself goes, I really love it. I love when palettes magnetize shut, that way I don’t have to worry about it opening up on accident, or worry about taking extra time trying to unlatch or pop it open. I think that the mirror is the perfect size for this palette, some people dislike mirrors in palettes because they think it’s worthless, I personally think they’re awesome and convenient! And I love how Judy’s quote is under the mirror! “Natural is beautiful, but makeup is glam”.
Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Phenyl Trimethicone, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Bismuth Oxychloride, Nylon-12, Lauroyl Lysine, Kaolin, Magnesium Stearate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben
