Saturday Reviews! Em Cosmetics: Dramatic Volume Waterproof Mascara

     For November’s Ipsy Bag everyone was notified that we would be receiving a full size Em Cosmetics product. I have tried Em Cosmetics before, and I love them! Very highly pigmented eye shadows and the lip colors smell amazing! When I found out about the full size Em Cosmetics product I was hoping it wouldn’t be a lip or eye shadow product, this is because I have already tried eye shadows and lipsticks, therefor I wanted to try a new product from Michelle’s makeup line. 

     So my product I received is: Dramatic Volume Waterproof Mascara: Black. I love trying out new mascara’s whenever I get the chance. I knew, at least I hoped that this product would be amazing. 

     When I first tested it out I noticed that it was very natural looking, but better. This mascara enhances your lashes to an extent, it’s not too dramatic which is great for everyday! I also like that when I use this mascara it doesn’t extend my lashes to where it’s pushing up against my glasses lenses. So I can now feel comfortable having nice looking lashes while wearing glasses without being uncomfortable.

Con’s:

1. Waterproof (difficult removal)

3. Brush (I prefer larger mascara brushes)

     The reasoning for the price being on the con side is because I never think mascara’s are worth that much. I really like this mascara and think it’s perfect for new makeup beginners. This is because of how easy it is to apply and that it’s very natural looking. If you aren’t very comfortable with mascara and not sure how to go about it, this would be the perfect starter for you! 

     I definitely recommend this product to everyone, it’s one of those mascara’s I believe everyone should have in their collection. It’s perfect for everyday and for those days you don’t feel like adding too much drama to your look. I believe that everyone should have at least have one waterproof mascara. They’re perfect for those long work days, or hot summer days when your makeup often doesn’t want to last long.
