Saturday Reviews! be a Bombshell! Lip Crayon: Hot Damn

     I always love when I receive new lip products in my monthly Ipsy Bag, mainly because I don’t purchase many myself. This time I was very excited because the color of the lip crayon was red, perfect for the winter/holiday season! I had never heard of this brand before. So with that, I did a little research on my own. I saw that Be a Bombshell’s lip crayons are $14, which is pricey for lip products. High pricing typically means good quality, which made me more intrigued to try out this product. 

     When I first applied the lip crayon in: Hot Damn, I noticed it went on very dry. Somewhat like a lip pencil (or at least how some lip pencils are), which disappointed me. But the color payoff almost makes up for the dry application. This pencil isn’t a true red, I can see a hint of orange in it. Perfect for people that aren’t into full on reds, and like something a little different.

     I like that this product doesn’t have about a thousand ingredients in it, this means there isn’t any more chemicals than needed. Which saves you from letting any toxins into your body! Personally I can’t see myself purchasing this product again, mainly because I’m not a big lip product fan. I love how pigmented the lip crayon is though, I was expecting a sheer application, but I was happily surprised.
