Renaissance Vamp Look!

I’ve been slacking lately on blog post! But I plan on getting back into the rhythm of it for sure! I decided to get a little edgy today, but still extra girly.

So let’s get started!

Primer is your best friend when any shadow is involved. Using TooFaced: Shadow Insurance in Champagne. Apply it all over your lid, blend it out slightly.

Next apply a sticky base to help the shadows apply and appear more vibrant/stronger. Using NYX Cosmetics in Iced Mocha, apply it all over your lid staying right below the crease.

Using Anastasia: Modern Renaissance palette, apply with a flat shader brush Tempera all over the lid, lightly blended it above the crease.

As a transition color, taking a fluffy dome brush, I applied Golden Ochre into the crease.

To darken up the lid, taking a small dome brush; I applied Cyprus Umber to the crease. Making sure to blend it out well.

Highlighting a look is always key, it starts to bring everything to together. Taking a clean fluffy dome brush, I applied Tempera to the brow-bone. This will also help blend out any harsh-lines from your crease colors

Not only do I like highlighting the brow-bone, I love highlighting the inner corner of the eyes! Using NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk I applied it to my inner corner and blended it out slightly.

On top of the jumbo pencil, I took Urban Decay palette Moondust, and applied Specter on top of the pencil.

Adding more definition to the top of the lids, I applied in a thin line Urban Decay: 24/7 Eyeliner in Voodoo.

Time to line that water-line! Taking Urban Decay: 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero. Smudge it very slightly on the lower lash-line.

Taking a small shader brush, mix together Love Letter and Antique Bronze from the Anastasia: Modern Renaissance palette. And smudge it along the lower lash-line.

To finish off the eyes, apply your favorite mascara! The one I’ve been loving right now is the Benefit: Roller Lash mascara.

In my opinion, your eye makeup is only as good as you let your eyebrows be. Good brows help the look be the best it can be! Taking my Bobbi Brown: Long-Wear Brow Gel in Rich Mahogany, and my Sephora angled brush, I filled in my brows to their best potential!

And now your eyes are complete! But that doesn’t mean the rest of your face is… ALWAYS gotta have a wicked lip when you work so hard on your eyes! Using my new Urban Decay: Vice Lipstick in Speedball, I applied it straight from the tube, to my lips!

And your look is complete!
