Princess Series: Jasmine (Aladdin)

“I can show you the world, shinning, shimmering, splendid. Now tell me princess, when did you last let your heart decide.”

I took color inspiration from Jasmine’s dress and the Genie’s lamp.  As always you want to prime prime prime! Using my go-to Urban Decay: Primer Potion in Original.

Next I wanted to apply a base color that would help my main lid color really pop! Using NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.  Time for shadows!  I used only 2 palettes for this look, amazing right?! I usually end up using like 4….

Tarte: Make Believe In Yourself

Tarte: Tarteist Pro

First shadow your going to apply over Milk is going to be Dream from the Make believe in yourself palette. All over the lid, blending it out into the crease.

Blend out Dream using a matte light brown, this will also help as a transition color. I used Myth from the Make believe in yourself palette.

To darken up the look, I applied Punk from the Pro palette to the outer crease, with a very small dome shaped brush. When blending the color out make sure to keep the color focus in the outer corner.

To highlight the eyes I applied Vintage from the Pro palette right below the brow bone.

Typically when I apply eyeliner I keep in super thin with barely any wing. But I wanted to add a little more, given the picture of Jasmine, it shows a lot more eyeliner than I’m use to.

For the liner I used Sephora: Stylographic Fine Line Micro Thin Felt Liner in Black.

Time to work on the lower lash-line!

Using Maybelline: Waterproof Gel Liner in Striking Copper apply to both top and lower waterline.

Using a smudger brush, apply Ethereal along the lower lash-line.

Along with that, using your favorite mascara, I used Benefit: Roller Lash Mascara in Black. I made sure to apply 2 coats, to get the best effect.

In most of the inspiration pictures of Jasmine, I noticed she had a few different lips colors; red, dark nude, and baby pink. I wanted a simpler lip for this look, so that it doesn’t take away from the eyes.

I applied NYX Cosmetics: Soft Matte Lip Cream in Milan.

And my wearable Jasmine inspired look is complete!
