Princess Series: Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

“Tale as old as time, true as it can. Barely even friends, then somebody bends, unexpectedly. Just a little change small, to say the least. Both a little scared. Neither one prepared..Beauty and the beast.”

Let’s get started on the look!  You always want to start off by priming the lids, keeps your eyeshadow’s sticking, and lasting longer. I used the Urban Decay: Primer Potion in Original.

Next your going to want to add a sticky, colored base. This will help enhance any colors you add to your lid. For this I used NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cashmere.

Now it’s time for shadows, to create this look I ended up using 4 palettes, mainly because I was very specific with the certain colors I wanted.

Sephora: Minnie Mouse Collection Palette

Urban Decay: Urban Spectrum Palette

TooFaced: White Chocolate Chip Palette

Pixi + ItsJudyTime: ItsEyeTime Palette

To begin I applied Big Shoes To Fill (Sephora Palette) all over my lid, and blending it into my crease.

For a transition color, I applied Honey Bear (Itsjudytime Palette) into the crease, to prepare for blending in my crease color.

For my crease color, I applied Some Like It Dot (Sephora Palette) into my crease using a dome-shaped blending brush. Blending it out in an upwards motion.

To highlight my lid, and blend out any harsh lines, using a fluffy blending brush I applied the white shadow from the TooFaced Palette.

To start finishing off the top lid, I applied Maybelline: Lasting Drama Gel Pencil in Striking Copper.

To give more definition to my lashes, I applied the thinnest line along my upper lash-line. This will help your lashes look thicker and fuller. I used KatVonD: Tattoo Liner in Trooper Black.

With makeup inspired by Belle, I think some people focus too much on her gold dress, and completely ignore her blue dress in the movies! So I decided to add it to my lower lid. Using L’Oreal: Silkissime Liner in Bleu Cobalt, I applied it to my lower water-line.

To smudge out the liner and add more blue, I applied Evidence (Urban Decay Palette) with a small smudge brush along my lower lash-line.

To brighten up the look, apply Nyx Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to the inner corner of my eyes. Apply on top of it Blue Rhythm (Sephora Palette).

To finish the eyes, apply your favorite mascara! I used Benefit: Roller Lash in Black.

Since Belle is such a simple girl, I didn’t want to give this look a bold lip. I stuck with more of a nude/mauve pink. Using CoverGirl: Katy Kat Matte in Kitty Purry.

I couldn’t just stop there though…Belles dress is full of sparkle, and shines beautifully. So to bring that to my look, I applied Urban Decay: Vice Special Effects Lip Top Coat in Litter on top of my lipstick.

And your Belle inspired look is complete!
