Princess Series: Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
“Even if love is full of thorns, I’d still embrace it, for that I know that in between those thorns there is a rose worth all the pain”
I pulled all of my inspiration off of Aurora’s dress, so much pink!
Starting off with primer, Urban Decay: Primer Potion in Original. Apply it all over your lid, and lower lash-line.
Next apply NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Strawberry Milk.
I decided to edge this look a little.. Taking scotch tape, make sure to apply it to your hand first to remove some of the sticking, this way you’re not pulling on your skin around your eyes so much.
Now it’s shadow time! And yes, I used 3 palettes….
Tarte: Make Believe In Yourself
TooFaced: Sweet Peach Palette
TooFaced: White Chocolate Chip Palette
Starting with the Peach Palette, using a small brush apply Candied Peach along the scotch tape. And bring the color around into the crease.
Next I wanted to darken up the edges a little more, using that same small brush, I applied Summer Yum along the scotch tape, and into the crease.
After adding the darker shadow, make sure to blend only upwards toward the brow-bone with a fluffy dome brush.
Using the White Chocolate Palette, I applied Indulge using a flat shader brush all over the lid.
To blend out the shadows even more, I used Pixie from the Tarte Palette, and blended out any harsh edges.
To brighten up your eyes, using NYX Cosmetics: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk in the inner corner of your eyes. On top, I applied Guilt Free from the White Chocolate Palette.
Line your tight-line and waterline using your favorite black liner. I used Urban Decay: 24/7 Liner in Zero.
I didn’t want to add too much black to this look, since I’m trying to keep it as pink as possible. So with a felt tip liner, I did a very thin line just along my lashes, this will help your lashes look fuller.
Using a small smudging brush, apply Just Peachy from the Peach Palette along the lower lash-line.
To complete the eyes, apply 2 coats of your favorite mascara. I used TooFaced: Better Than Sex Mascara in Black.
I wanted to keep the lips as neutral as possible. I went for Buxom: Full On Lip Polish in Sophia.
My Aurora inspired makeup look is complete!
