I had a gift card from Ulta and I wanted to purchase some new products, instead of stocking up on products I already have and love. I saw the L’Oreal display for their Infallible eye shadows. They were all very pretty, but the one that stood out to me was Burst Into Bloom. A beautiful pink/purple powder/cream-like textured eye shadow.
So let’s get started with this pink look!
First off as always, a primer. I’m using my Urban Decay Primer Potion for this look. Blend it all over your lid, up to the brow-bone, and along your lower lash-line.

For the best color payoff, and easy application, I used Nyx Cosmetics Jumbo Pencil in Lavender. Blend this all over your lid, keeping it just below the crease.

Time for shadows!
I applied L’Oreal: Infallible Eye Shadow in Burst Into Bloom all over my lid, make sure to pack it on very well. I noticed that this color isn’t very pigmented. After that, take a clean dome-shaped fluffy brush, and blend it up towards the brow-bone.

To intensify this look, and add more depth to your eyes apply Nooner from the Naked 3 Palette to your crease. Make sure to blend it out smoothly.

To darken up my eyes I applied Blackheart from the Naked 3 Palette to my lower lash-line. I smudged it along so that it wasn’t so intense.

For a highlight on my brow-bone I used the lightest color in the Naked 3 Palette; Strange. This color will also help blend out any harsh lines from the previous colors you applied.

Now that you are done with all of your eye shadows, it’s time to start adding the finishing touches.
I applied Riot from the Urban Decay: Black Market eyeliner set, to my water-line. This really helps add more purple, along with the Blackheart.

Next I applied Maybelline Gel Liner in Black along my upper lash-line. For this I used my Real Techniques Liner Brush, make sure to apply a thin line. The focus is on the shadows in this look, not the liner.

To complete this look you’ll need your favorite mascara! I applied 2 coats of Em Cosmetics: Dramatic Volume-Waterproof Mascara to both my top and bottom lashes.

Now the eyes are complete!

To complete the whole look add some lipstick. I decided to stick with the “pink theme” and use my Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Anarchy.

And now your “Pretty in Pink” look is complete!

I hope you all enjoyed this look! Have a great day!
