November Ipsy Bag!

So for this Saturday Reviews, I decided to change it up a little and focus on my Ipsy Bag! I felt like it was forever until I received it in the mail. I think everyone else on the Ipsy Bag website got their bag way before mine, because I started getting e-mails from Ipsy about going to review the products I got. I’m sitting on the computer freaking out because the e-mail shows the products I will be getting, and I was like “no! I haven’t gotten it yet, don’t show me!” But now I can calmly read all e-mails from Ipsy and not be disappointed.  So as always, a part of your Ipsy Bag is a brand new makeup bag! And this month’s makeup bag is doubled as a clutch! Perfect for going to those holiday parties that will be coming soon.

Time for products!

Pixi: Beauty Bronzer-Subtly Suntouched

First off I love the packing! I love how its hard rubber, perfect for a long lasting and durable case, perfect for if you drop it! I color is perfect for my skin tone! To me I feel like a lot of people wear too dark of a bronzer when the winter comes, personally I think your bronzer should match the amount of sun exposure you are most likely going to get. It’s a very smooth texture and has a very nice glow to it, it’s not loaded with shimmer or sparkles.

Glamglow: Youthmud Tingle Exfoliate Treatment

I haven’t had the time to test this product out yet, my mom is all for being the guinea pig though! She loves skin treatments that will help her look and feel younger. And according to the description of this product, it’s suppose to help tighten your skin and make the skin look younger.

Em Cosmetics: Dramatic Volume Waterproof Mascara-Black

I have already started falling in love with Em Cosmetics! I love their lip sticks and their eye shadows are very pigmented, and so smooth! So as you can probably guess, I was very excited to see an Em Cosmetics product in my bag this month! I can’t wait to try it. I’m not a huge fan of waterproof mascara, only because taking it off at night is a pain.

Starlooks: Gem Pencil–Amethyst

I have never seen an eyeliner come in this color, it’s gorgeous! It’s the perfect color for opening up your eyes without it looking too dramatic or weird. I think it would be perfect as a base for purple-toned shadows. It blends nicely and it sets pretty fast, so make sure to work quickly with it, when you’re blending it on the lid.

Be a Bombshell: Lip Crayon-Hot Damn

My sister actually just tested this out for me, I noticed that it’s more orange than red. If you look at the pencil without applying it, you would expect a true red lip. She mentioned it was a little bit drying, I still need to test it out to make sure it’s like that on someone else besides her. I often put chapstick on before any lipsticks just because of habit. I love that you can twist the crayon up and down like some eyeliners do.

Nailtini: Nail Polish-Caviar Cocktail

When I first saw this nail polish I got very excited. Who doesn’t love trying out new nail colors?! The only concern I had was with the color, every silver I’ve tested out comes off extremely light. So you would have to apply about 3-4 coats to get the perfect color payoff. This nail polish is highly pigmented, and you do not have to apply a million coats to get the right color onto your nails!

As you can probably tell, I received more than 5 products this month! I actually received 6! Which is just a bonus for me. And for you guys, that way I can review more new and awesome products for you all. All in all I’m very happy with my bag this month, I love getting a big variety of products. And all of these products can be used together, which always makes life more convenient. I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! And remember, $10 is an awesome deal for an Ipsy Bag, you get to try out all types of beauty products within your budget!
