Naked 3 Palette; Edgy Lines!

Lately I’ve noticed my makeup has been pretty safe, I use to do more dramatic makeup looks on myself. Well I decided to give a makeup trick a try. I’ve used this technique once, for a Halloween look. Using my Naked 3 palette I was able to create this wearable, slightly edgy look!  Let’s get started! First off gotta always prime the eyelids! You want your makeup lasting long, especially with how much effort you put into it. I used my Urban Decay: Primer Potion

After applying your primer, you want to put down a base. One that will be sticky enough to help shadows adhere better, and appear brighter. For this I used NYX: Jumbo Eye Pencil in Lavender.

The main feature of this look is the sharp edges. Taking two pieces of tape, applying them right underneath your lower lash-line, angling it upward to create a cat-eye look. Keep the tape on until your are finished with your crease colors.

Time to add our shadows on top! For this look I used only my Naked 3 Palette.

After applying the tape to both eyes, I applied Factory in my crease using a fluffy dome-shaped brush, blending it right along the tape and in an upward motion. You don’t want this shadow on your lid.

I blended out Factory with Nooner, again using that same dome-shaped brush, only blending upward. To add more depth to the crease, I added Blackheart right into Factory and blended it out.

Now that all of your crease shadows have been applied and blended out, you can carefully remove the tape. And from here you can add your lid color! I used Buzz, kept it only on the lid, didn’t blend it up towards my crease colors.

To darken up my eyes, I applied Blackheart along my lower lash-line, and blended it just a little, downward.

Make sure to add a highlight! I did both my brow-bone, and inner-corner. For this I used Strange to add to my brow-bone. For my inner corner highlight, I applied NYX: Jumbo Pencil in Milk. Over the top of that I applied Dust. And now all of your shadows are done!

To start complete my eye look add some liner! I used Revlon ColorStay: Liquid Eye Pen in Black, I applied a thin line along my top lash-line.

Now for more eyeliner…Using Urban Decay: 24/7 Eyeliner in Perversion, I applied it to my tight-line, and water line.

To finish off the eyes you need a couple coats of black mascara. Using my favorite mascara; CoverGirl: LashBlast in Black, I applied to coats to both my top and bottom lashes.

And now the eyes are complete!

Now to finish off the rest of the face. Apply your favorite foundation, my preference is Maybelline: FitMe in 115. I blend it in using my Real Techniques: Buffing Brush

To set your foundation use either or compact or loose powder. I use Rimmel: Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 005 (Silky Beige).

Now it’s time for cheeks! I decided to try out a new product I received from my Ipsy Bag; Elizabeth Mott: Tint & Sass– Lip and cheek tint. I applied a minimum amount to my cheeks, and blended it out with my fingers.

And now your makeup look is complete!

Hope you all enjoyed!
