Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth VoxBox

Ladies…and gents! It’s time for another VoxBox. And let me tell you, when I first got the email that I was receiving these products from Influenster.com I couldn’t help but laugh…why you ask? Because exactly a week before the email, I purchased the Maybelline: Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation. Although I purchased the shade 115, I can definitely rock the fairer shade as well! So now I have a backup for when I run out, or am feeling a bit fairer that day.

Now that story time is over, let’s get into the products I received!

Maybelline: Master Prime

I’m going to be completely honest, I usually hate primers. I never saw the point in them, and I hated the way they felt on my skin. Especially the silicone-based ones. But I thought, hey I got this for free to test out, so why not give it a chance. And I was very surprised, I actually liked the way it felt on my skin and how my foundation applied over top of it. And it’s pretty hydrated. If you’ve seen my Winter Skincare Routine you know I’ve been struggling with super dry skin this Winter. This primer definitely helps tackle dry skin! And a little goes a long way. 

Maybelline: Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation in 110 (Porcelain)

Since I’ve already used this foundation before receiving it, I can honestly say I really like it. It’s a good light/medium coverage, blends well into the skin, and helps keep my skin hydrated! If you have dry patches, it will help hydrate and smooth those parts out. I highly recommend setting it with a powder, it doesn’t last that well without one. It comes in 16 different shades, perfect for being able to find the right one for you!

I know for sure I will be repurchasing the foundation in the future seeing as though I’ve bought in many times in the past. As far as the primer, I think it’s best for Winter. But when Summer comes, I most likely won’t need it. But it still works wonders!
