Lovely Night Look!
This makeup looks shows that it is possible to have a full bright lip and well done eyes. Who says you can only have a bold lip with simple eyes, or a bold eye with a simple or no lip?! Not me, I’m all for showing off both in full affect, but make sure both of the looks go together!
There are 5 main products in this look, if you don’t have them go look in your makeup collection and find duplicates your satisfied with. But don’t worry, I’ll be listing everyone in case you want to check them out. First product is something everyone needs in their makeup collection, you don’t need this exact one though. And that would be a eye shadow primer, for this look I use Urban Decay Primer Potion in the Original shade, which is a ‘barely there’ type of color. This product allows your eye shadows to look more vibrant, last longer and keeps them from creasing. The main eye shadow I use for this look is actually a loose pigment from Mac Cosmetics, called; Kitschmas. It’s a purple/pink color with a lot of shimmer. Be aware that this has a lot of fallout when pressing it onto your lid, my biggest advice is to use a small wash cloth or a tissue to hold onto your face, that way your loose pigment doesn’t fall all over your face. For the light crease color I actually use 2 shadows from the ‘Ammo’ Palette from Urban Decay. The two colors I use are; Grifter and Last Call. Both very nice shimmery purples. This 2 colors really help blend out Kitschmas and give a little bit of depth in your crease. To add a bit a smokey darkness to the crease, I added a black shadow with purple glitter in it. That would be ‘Beauty Marked’ by Mac Cosmetics. It’s a great black that gives off a small purple tone from the glitter in it. Last of all for the eyes, just add your favorite black eyeliner and black mascara. My go-to’s are; ‘Urban Decay’ 24/7 glide on pencil in “Perversion” and ‘Cover Girl’ Lash Blast mascara in “Very Black”. Now to make the look even more glamorous and great for a night out is your lips. I’m not sure if you can buy this lip product on its own, I was able to purchase it when I got the ‘Theodora’ Palette from “Urban Decay”. The lip product is a ‘Super-Saturated’ High Shine Lip Color in “Theodora”. It’s a gorgeous vibrant red that’s great for the night and for all of summer, I don’t even have to use a lip gloss with this.
