It’s Judy Time Palette: Purple Look!
I’m still so bummed that the It’s Judy Time palette is no longer available for purchase, so glad I got my hands on it when I did! So, for those of you with this palette I hope you enjoy this look.
First off I primed the lids, using Too Faced: Shadow Insurance. I applied it all over the lid, make sure not to add too much, or else the primer won’t work the way you want.
These shadows are amazingly pigmented, but a sticky base will always help the shadows be more vibrant and stick on better. So for these particular shadows I used Nyx Cosmetics: Jumbo Pencil in Lavender, and applied it only to my lid, keeping it just below the crease.
Now it’s time for shadows! Taking the shimmery purple from the palette and apply it all of the lid, to get the most color pay off layer the eye shadow.
Before adding a darker color in the crease, I added a transitioning color first. The second color in the top row of the palette, I lightly blended it into my crease, and blended outward, slightly towards my brow-bone.
Time to darken up the lids! Taking the matte purple in this palette, I applied it right into the crease, creating more dimension and to smoke out the look a little.
Next I took the dark blue in this palette, and smudged it along my lower lash-line, perfect way to complete the shadows of this look.
Liner time!
I took Urban Decay: 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero, and applied it to my water-line and my tight-line. I also smudged it along my top lash-line, and blended it out a little with the dark blue eye shadow in this palette using a small pencil brush.
To complete the eyes, it’s always best to add some mascara! For this I used Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara. I applied it to both my top and bottom lashes, and did two coats for the top lashes.
And now the eyes are complete!
I still wish I was able to get another It’s Judy Time Palette, but I’m very glad I was able to get at least one! I hope you enjoyed this purple look!
