Huda Beauty: Desert Dusk Palette

I received the Huda Beauty: Desert Dusk Palette as a Christmas present, and man am I excited about it! I instantly threw it into my makeup bag, and have been using it every single day!

This palette has 18 eyeshadows. With a range of textures including; 1 Glitter, 8 Creamy Mattes, 6 Pearl Shades, 3 Duo-Chrome Toppers.

The best way to get your colors worth with the duo-chrome’s is to apply them on top of one of the matte eyeshadow’s. And to get them to really pop, spray water or setting spray to your brush and press it into the shadow. This will help create a foil looking shadow. Just like I did below. I used Tarte: Rainforest of The Sea-Marine Misting Boost and sprayed it on my brush first ↓

This palette has absolutely no fall out! I don’t know how it’s possible, but it’s amazing! Only 1 eyeshadow has fall out-Cosmo, because it’s packed full of awesome glitter!

It’s a little on the pricey side- $65.00 but well worth it. This palette is perfect for creating so many looks, from simple day looks, to glamorous night-on-the-town looks. If you’re looking to get more creative with your makeup looks, and want to explore different shades and textures, this is definitely the palette to get.
