Hogwarts House Series: Gryffindor

It’s time for a new series here on Beautyfrenzies! I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and I needed an excuse to do Hogwarts House inspirational makeup looks. Starting off with the fan favorite Gryffindor!

First off apply TooFaced: Shadow Insurance in Champagne all over the lid, up to the brow bone, and along the lower lash-line.

Taking a large blending brush and Big Shoes to Fill from Sephora: Minnie’s Beauty World in Color

Apply to just the crease of your eyes, blending it up towards the brows.

From the Anastasia Beverly Hills: Modern Renaissance

Apply Venetian Red right on top of Big Shoes to Fill.

To add some warmth and more dimension to the eyes, I took Pixi+ItsJudyTime: ItsEyeTime

And applied Getaway (third row, middle color) to the outer and inner corner of my eyes.

Going back to Minnie’s Beauty World in Color, I dipped my brush in a little bit of water (to enhance the color of the shadow) and dipped it into Big Shoes to Fill, applying it only to the center of my lids.

Next I applied Urban Decay: 24/7 Liner in Zero along my water-line and tight-line.

Using a smudging brush, I applied Getaway from the Pixi+ItsJudyTime palette along my lower lash-line

To brighten up the inner corner, I applied Snowflake from the Pixi+ItsJudyTime palette

For my winged liner I used Revlon: ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen

To finish the eyes, I applied two coats of Benefit: Roller Lash Mascara

And your eyes are complete!

For my lips, I wanted the perfect crimson red color! I found that color in the Pixi+ItsJudyTime: ItsLipTime

Taking a lip brush, I applied Fierce (bottom left) to my lips.
