Eyeliner Galore!
Today I’m going to be talking about the most popular and important makeup product in every girl and even guys life! Eyeliner. There are so many different types, textures, brands, and colors to pick from! So let’s just get into them all!
Liquid Liner: Probably the most common type of eyeliner, and most difficult to use. Liquid liner is perfect for those “Hollywood” type makeup looks, mainly because liquid liner packs a punch with a lot of shine, so you don’t need anything else to give your eye look life. The best way for me to use liquid liner is by using the thin sponge brush that often comes with it, make sure the brush isn’t dripping wet. Liquid liner can get pretty messy, especially if you’re new with it, so take your time by using light and small strokes.
Gel Liner: Gel liner is probably one of the easiest types of liner to apply, it’s perfect for beginners who still need to work on their steady hand. Gel liner is often a bit flat, so adding it on the top lash line to add depth to all the eyeshadow you have on is perfect. Like liquid liners, gel liners come in many different colors. It has to be applied with an angled brush or thin lip liner type brush.
Pencil Liner: Pencil liners main purpose is usually for the water line and tight line. They are super easy to apply onto your water line, some might pull a little, the best thing to do is find a pencil liner with a formula that’s right for you. Pencil liners can also be use to smudge along the upper lash line and lower lash line to give a smokey/messy effect.
Felt-Tip Liner: This is probably the easiest eyeliner to apply along your lash line, mainly because a little bit of product comes out at a time, and not all at once. Felt-tip liners are exactly their name, they look like a felt-tip pen and the product comes out just like a felt-tip pen. Personally this is my favorite type of eye liner, I use it everyday, it’s so easy to create a thin straight line to add more depth to your lashes.
