Easy Everyday: Dark Makeup Look!
Since starting my new job and needing to wake up early and head off to work, I realized that I don’t have too much time to do my makeup in the morning. Since Fall is here I wanted to have my “Everyday Look” be darker than usual. And I figured the easiest “Everyday Look” makeup often consists of one or two eye shadows only.
Well I found the perfect everyday, dark Fall-like eye shadow to wear! Urban Decay: Naked Palette-Darkhorse.
(Darkhorse is the 4th one from the left)
First off you always should use a primer, especially if you have oily lids like me. A eye shadow primer will keep the eye shadow lasting longer, and will prevent it from shifting around, or creasing.
I used Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin.
Next take a big shading brush. I suggest a big one only because it’s less time consuming, it can always apply your shadows a lot faster with one swipe. I placed Darkhorse all over my lid, up to my crease, make sure to blend it out. I also took it across my lower lash-line. To add a little light to the look, place a shadow a few shades lighter than your skin tone and place it under your brow bone. For this I used Virgin from the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
(Virgin is the first color)
Time to start completing the look! I ran Bourban eyeliner along my water line from Urban Decay.
Next place Maybelline gel liner along your upper lash-line, I did a very thin line.
And finally add some mascara! I used L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes mascara in Black/Brown.
And here’s your finished look!
Always remember that you do not need a full face of makeup to look presentable for work or school. Even a little bit of foundation is perfect for everyday! I hope you enjoyed!
