I've always been a fan of the fun and creative collections Coloupop has come out with in the past. Especially the Frozen 2 Collection. When I got a notification about "The Child" Palette, I knew I needed it. First, I loved the greens, which always look good with brown eyes. And of course it's inspired by the child from The Mandalorian. Which is a show I'm absolutely obsessed with! If you haven't watched it....well you need to!

(Isn't this just the cutest packaging?!)

When I first swatched the colors I did notice there's a lot of fallout, more than my other 9 Pan palettes from Colourpop. But the colors are highly pigmented and very blendible. I would just be prepared from some clean up when you're done doing your eye shadow

Now that you've seen the eye shadows in the palette and swatched. By the way, I didn't apply any primer underneath the eye shadows above. I will give you a description below on each color

-Colors from left to right-

  • Precious Cargo: A sheer iridescent gold, with silver glitter

  • Right Hand Mando: Metallic green, with silver glitter

  • Just Like A Tatooine: Matte light brown

  • Sipping Soup: Metallic mossy green

  • Baby Face: Matte minty green

  • The Force: Metallic gold with gold glitter

  • Little Frog: Matte Olive green with silver glitter

  • Float Your Crib: Matte dark green

  • Droid Protocol: Matte warm dark brown

I only found one eye shadow that isn't as pigmented as I hoped; Precious Cargo. It is the lightest color in the palette. It seems more like a glitter than an actual eye shadow

I prefer creating an eye look for my reviews when I'm doing a full palette review. That way I can get a full feel for all the pigmentation, fallout, blending, etc. All the eye shadows in this look are from "The Child" Palette. I also added NYX Cosmetics: Epic Ink Liner and Tarte: Maneater Mascara

And that completes my "The Child" Palette review! I hope you guys enjoyed, let me know if there are any Colourpop Palettes you want me to review next!
