Boxy Charm: Jan. 2020- Breaking The Ice

     I’m very late to the game with this beauty subscription. Mostly because I used to get Ipsy and I was always disappointed, so I wanted to avoid that for a while. Well my social media kept blowing up with all these awesome products people were receiving in their own Boxy Charm boxes, so I decided to take the plunge! I’m glad I did, not like I don’t have enough makeup or anything, ha….. 

     So what’s so great about Boxy Charm? Welllllll for $25 a month you receive 5 FULL SIZE BEAUTY PRODUCTS! Okay, I’m done screaming….. And it’s all valued at $125. You can also do some tweaks to your monthly boxes, say you want more skincare and less makeup, well that’s an option! Do you want to skip skincare completely, you can choose that option as well. I prefer that option, mostly because my skins so sensitive that I’m always a little nervous to try new skin products. For my first box, I didn’t choose either option, I just went with what they want to give me. 

     Now that I’m done blabbering about the service, let’s get into what I got! Because let’s face it, that’s the only real reason we’re here.

Pretty Vulgar: Nightingale Eye Shadow Palette

     This is the perfect everyday palette, and great for more neutral eye looks, and smoky eyes. 

Ace Beaute: Vintage Dawn 

     Do you see that orange and yellow in the first row? Those eye shadows were the ones that got me SO EXCITED for this palette. And the pigmentation…..is pretty spot on! 

Too Faced: Diamond Light- Diamond Fire Highlighter in Fancy Pink Diamond

     Okay, yes the pigmentation of this highlight is really nice…But this is the best packaging I’ve seen in a long time! It’s just…amazing and creative. It’s a box…and then inside is a ring box which is the keeper of the highlighter! 

Wander Beauty: Trip For Two Blush and Bronzer Duo

     I really like the blush in this duo, it’s very natural and not too dark. But that bronzer is just…off. In the picture it looks darker, but it’s barely a shade darker than my skin tone, and I’m super white…. On the bright side there’s no orange undertone to it!

Luxie Beauty: Makeup Brushes

     In this set of three, you get a traditional foundation brush, fluffy blending brush, and a small flat smudging brush.

Petite ‘n Pretty: Fully Feathered Volumizing Mascara 

     This is actually a pretty decent mascara, I also really like the wand. The top of the wand gets bigger to help create volume with your lashes.

Avant Skincare: 8 Hour Radiance Renewal Sleeping Mask

     I’ve been dying to try this, but like I said before I’m always nervous to try new skincare products. But with how much this product retails for…I’ll definetly be giving it a shot. Oh how much you ask?….$107. Yeah holy guacamole
