August Ipsy Bag!

This months Ipsy bag is focusing on back to school! School makeup is often times very light, at least it should be. And all of these items are perfect for a simple, fresh, back to school look!  This months bag is very versatile, not only can it be used as a makeup bag, but also a pencil case for school!

Urban Decay: Perversion Mascara

I’ve been wanting to try out this mascara since it came out! But I just haven’t convinced myself to go out and purchase myself, just in case I didn’t like it. I really like the texture, it’s thick, and very pigmented. Since it’s thick, that means you don’t have to apply multiple coats to get a good payoff from the mascara. And its easily removable, I was afraid it would be hard to remove because of how thick the product is.

Lord & Berry: Kohl-Liner (#1001/Black Silk)

This mini kohl-liner is perfect to throw in your backpack, it won’t take up any space! One of the basic makeup products you can have is eyeliner, especially if you’re just starting out in makeup. This liner is very dark, so you don’t have to worry about over-applying it. 

Dr. Brandt: Pores No More- Pore Refiner Primer

I was expecting this primer to be clear, but it’s the perfect skin-tone color. I haven’t been able to test this product, since I just got it today! This product is for oily-combination skin, and it will help mattify your skin, perfect for school! This way you don’t have to worry about bringing any extra facial products to keep the shine away. 

Coastal Scents: Forever Blush

I’ve always wanted to try out Coastal Scents products, and I’m glad I’m finally get the chance. The top one is a blush, perfect for any skin-tone! It’s a really pretty medium/bright pink, with a slight shimmer. The bottom color is a matte bronzer, perfect for adding some color to your face. 

Absolute New York: You’re The Balm- Grape

Whether you’re kissing in school, or just needing a little extra hydration, lip balm is the perfect item for you! Especially when the lip balm smells like grape candy! And the amount giving in this container is perfect to last all year!
