April Ipsy Bag

It’s that time again! This months Ipsy bag seems to revolve around the summer months that are getting closer, simple colors, and products to keep our skin from drying from the heat.  This months Ipsy bag is a nicely sized woven cosmetics bag. 

Products Time! Lather: Ultra Light Face Lotion

With the hotter months getting closer, it’s good to have lots of choices to keep your skin moisturized. This moisturizer claims to be light enough for everyday, and non-greasy. Which is great, because when it gets hot and we start to sweat, it’s an added discomfort with having a thick moisturizer on your face. I’m not a big fan of the scent, I prefer facial products to have a very subtle scent. It sets fast, soaks into your skin quickly, perfect when you’re in a hurry. Mullein & Sparrow: Lip and Cheek Tint

I love berry colors like this! And it’s the perfect product for the fast pace person. It’s both a lip tint and a cheek tint. So for day trips where you only pack lightly, this is the perfect combo to keep space in your bag. I’m not a big fan of the scent, often times lip products (if they have a scent) usually has a sweet smell, it’s a unique chocolatey/berry scent. But I see myself using this product a lot!  Mica Beauty Cosmetics: Eye Primer

This is the perfect eye primer for every day makeup. Since it’s matte, you can easily use it with both shadows with shimmer, and shadows without, without compromising the actual color of the shadow. It’s a very sticky base, perfect for those stubborn shadows that are loose, and hard to keep on the eyelids all day.  Hikari: Blush- Tango

I love getting blushes in my Ipsy bag, I’ve found trouble with having allergies to most blushes, and I’m always looking for a good one to try. This color appears very vibrant and bright, but applied, it is very light. It’s perfect if you’re wanting a build-able color, that way you can control the amount of blush goes on. 

The Balm: Flirty

I fell in love with this color the minute I saw it! It’s perfect for everyday, just applied all over the lid. It is pact with shimmer, and great color pay-off. I really like the packaging as well, it’s very small, mainly because it’s not a full shadow, just a mini.
