40 Beauty Questions Tag!
I love reading tags on blogs or watching YouTube videos on tags that are going around, whether it’s beauty related or not! I found a tag that’s been going around forever, the: 40 Beauty Questions Tag.
So let’s get started with the questions! Skincare:
How many times do you wash your face daily? Once, at night. I hate going to bed with a face full of makeup!
What skin type do you have? Normal, I used to have very oily skin until my new found love for the Clinique 3 Steps.
What is your current facial wash? Clinique: Liquid Facial Soap-Mild.
Do you exfoliate? Not as much as I probably should. I’m pretty lazy at night when it’s time to wash everything away.
What brand do you use? For an exfoliate? Right now I’m loving the Michael Todd: Charcoal and Jojoba scrub.
What moisturizer do you use? Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.
Do you have freckles? Nope!
Do you use eye cream? I actually don’t. People always say it’s best to prevent, personally I don’t see the need in spending the extra money on something I’m not too worried about yet.
Do you or did you have acne prone skin? I have never had acne prone skin, and yes I know, I’m very lucky!
Did you ever use proactive? No, I never needed to.
Makeup:
What foundation do you use? Maybelline: Fit Me, in shade: 115.
How about concealer? I personally do not think I need it, plus it just adds up to how much makeup I put on daily.
Do you know your undertone color? I actually don’t. I should find out though…
What do you think of fake lashes? I’ve never used them, but I think they’re great for adding drama to your look. Although, I think girls shouldn’t wear them on an everyday basis.
Did you know that you’re suppose to change your mascara every 3 months? I did know that! Although most of my mascaras don’t last that long, so I think I’m good.
What brand of mascara do you use? Right now I’m obsessed with the L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes mascara.
Sephora or Mac? Sephora!
Do you have a mac-pro card? I’m not a huge Mac fan, so no I do not.
What makeup tools do you use in makeup application? Foundation brush, powder brush, blush brush, flat shader brush, dome-blending brush, small-detail brush, big fluffy shadow brush, and a brow brush.
Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes? Yes! Never apply eye-shadow without one. My favorites are the Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, and the Benefit Creaseless eye shadow bases.
For the face? Ever since I’ve gotten my oily skin under control, I don’t find a need in ever buying a face primer.
What is your favorite eye-shadow (color or shade)? Well this is a tough one…probably Half Baked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? For my water line I use a pencil, and I line along my lashes using a gel liner.
How often to you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? This is an odd question, but in all honesty…quite a few times. Especially if I’m in a hurry and not paying attention.
What do you think of pigment eye shadows? I think they’re amazingly pigmented in color! But fall-out is a pain!
Do you use mineral makeup? No.
What is your favorite lipstick? Hmm, well I’m not a big lipstick fan. But it’s probably my Maybelline Color Whisper in: Coral Ambition.
How about lip gloss? Well that would be my first Mac purchase! Lusterglass in Wonderstruck.
What is your favorite blush to use? Physicians Formula in: Cashmere Wear-Natural
Do you buy your makeup on e-bay? I never have, I’ve heard a lot of people do. It’s just not for me.
Do you like drugstore makeup? Yes, I actually love it. I think people forget that you can get inexpensive products that are amazing quality!
Do you go to CCO’s? (Cosmetic Company Outlets) I do every once in a while. I mainly shop at Sephora.
Did you ever consider taking makeup classes? Not really, I learned how to do makeup from YouTube Beauty Gurus. Also I’m going to Esthetician school, and soon I’ll be learning makeup application!
Are you clumsy with putting on makeup? Personally I don’t think I am, I also like taking my time. Not like hours of application, but if you mess up, sometimes you have to restart everything all over again!
Name a makeup crime that you hate? Mismatch of foundation, I hate it when I see girls with foundation all over their face, that clearly doesn’t match the rest of them. First off, these people need to learn how to blend the wrong-colored foundation into their necks, and even ears if they really want to wear it!
Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eye-shadows) or neutral ones? Personally I like all shades! I’m really into golds and browns right now, but I have my moments of going for purples and greens!
Which celebrity always has great makeup? Probably Hayden Panettiere, her face is always glowing! In a healthy, light sun-kissed way. And her eye makeup is always flawless, her eye makeup enhances her lashes and adds depth with dark colors, but it’s not too dramatic.
If you could leave the house using one makeup item, what would you use? Mascara! I have pretty good skin, so I don’t constantly have to worry about it. But I feel like if you just add a little mascara, it will give you more depth without adding a lot.
Could you ever leave the house without makeup on? Of course! I do it all of the time, I would rather sleep in a few minutes later before work, than use up 15 minutes to do my makeup.
Do you think you look good without any makeup on? Personally I think everyone looks beautiful and should feel beautiful without makeup on. Always remember that you’re enhancing your beauty, not hiding your face!
In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? Urban Decay! I love everything they sell. But most importantly their eye-shadows, they have such a large range of highly pigmented, well blend-able eye shadows, and the price is great.
What do you think of makeup? I think it’s your own way of showing art. I like saying that your face is a canvas, and you can create whatever you want! I think makeup is an amazing confidence booster for those conscious about their facial appearances, and it’s perfect for those wanting to add some color to their face!
