$10 Makeup Budget!
There’s a lot of people that prefer to pay a lot of money for top brand makeup, and there’s people who prefer cheaper/drugstore makeup because they’re on a budget. So today I’m going to show you all a few staple beauty products that you can purchase that are under $10!
Liquid Foundation: There are a lot of drugstore brands that make great, long lasting liquid foundations! The most popular drugstore brand liquid foundation is going to be: Revlon: ColorStay. It’s medium coverage, long lasting and just $9.99 at Target.
Setting Powder: My all time favorite setting powder is Rimmel: Stay Matte. It’s perfect for a long lasting matte finish, it doesn’t “cake up” over liquid foundation and the line of shades is very light, like a translucent powder with a hint of color. Only $3.97 at Walmart.
Eye Primer: So many brands now have their own eye primers, so it makes choosing pretty difficult. I’d go for the NYX: Eye Shadow Base. This primer last long and your eye shadows look brighter and go on smoother! It’s only $7.00 on Nyxcosmetics.com
Eye Shadows: All I ever want in an eye shadow is getting the exact color in the pan to transfer to my eyes, and of course to be the best color ever! I’ve found that L’Oreal makes the best eye shadows from the drugstore, they’re bright, pigmented and last all day! I personally prefer the L’Oreal HiP Duo eye shadows because you get 2 different shadows in one. At Walgreens they’re only $8.29.
Eyeliner: To pull an eye look together you need a long lasting eyeliner with full color pay off. My go-to drugstore eyeliner is Revlon: ColorStay-Liquid Eye Pen. This eyeliner isn’t for your water line, but for your lash line; which is what I often prefer. And it’s only $7.79 from Target.
Mascara: Along with eyeliner, mascara is another product that brings an eye look all together. There’s so many different types out there, it makes it difficult to choose! Do you want long lashes, voluminous lashes, false looking lashes? They have any one you could desire. My favorite mascara is the CoverGirl: LashBlast Fusion, it coats my lashes without clumping them, and with the huge mascara wand my lashes come out thicker and full of volume! From Target it’s only $7.99.
So as you can see here you don’t have to pay department store prices to get a good product! If you’re on a budget but still want great beauty products I suggest checking these awesome brands out!
